Mark Borghi is the founder and owner of Mark Borghi Fine Art, an art gallery specializing in Post-War American Art. With locations in New York, NY, Bridgehampton, NY, and Palm Beach, FL, Mark Borghi Fine Art maintains a strong inventory of the New York School, European Modern, and Contemporary Art. The galleries have featured work from famed artists like Andy Warhol, Yves Klein, Jackson Pollock, Hans Hoffman, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Prince, and Christopher Wool, among numerous others.
Mark Borghi opened the first location of Mark Borghi Fine Art in New York City in 1998. The Bridgehampton gallery opened in 2004 as a summer outpost with the same program as the New York City gallery. The program has exhibited displays of Contemporary Art, as well as the New York School, Abstract Expressionism, and Pop Art. The Palm Beach location later opened in 2011 with the inaugural exhibition, “Larry Poons Recent Works”.
One of the more recent exhibitions presented at Mark Borghi Fine Art was Gregory Johnston’s Ultimate History at the Bridgehampton gallery. Johnston’s third show at the gallery, the exhibition featured wall sculptures that were created using parts of vintage racing automobiles, including parts from coveted Ferrari and Porsche racecars. The exhibition was displayed from September 3, 2016 to Sept. 29, 2016.
The next featured exhibit will be present at the New York City gallery from October 20, 2016 to December 5, 2016. Beyond Secretary promotes equality for women and stands up against the ingrained assumption that a woman’s value is intrinsic to her beauty and servitude to men. Inspired by “The Divine Feminine,” a movement that pays homage to the intrinsic power of women that is often suppressed, Beyond Secretary exhibits various expressions of feminine power.
